The AGM was a success and we’re grateful for those who turned out to the two separate sessions. Ryan (chair) presented the group’s slideshow and showed a lot of enthusiasm for what comes next. The slides celebrate family sessions, volunteer efforts, funder backing and partnerships with charities like Kirkcaldy YMCA.
The group has existed for a little over 10 years and is based at a new community hub owned by Kirkcaldy YMCA. The hub and its cafe offer a supportive environment for Gallatown residents to come together. This has led to a stronger awareness of our group and the opportunities available when participating.
The goal for this AGM was to connect with people who were already gathering i.e. families who meet at the hub, the ladies cycling group and our very active Polish community. This was achieved and it’s already having an exciting affect on our outlook for 2025!
